SHIPR POLICY
Marketplace Conduct & Nondiscrimination Policy
How everyone on Shipr is expected to treat each other: no discrimination in choosing, starring, rating, or accepting work, safety and respect at every handoff, and how to report a concern.
1. Purpose
Shipr connects businesses ("Shippers") with drivers. This Policy applies to Shippers, everyone who uses Shipr on a Shipper's behalf, and Drivers, including Marketplace Drivers and an organization's own Fleet Drivers.
2. No Discrimination
No one may discriminate against anyone on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, pregnancy, age, disability, genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. This includes:
- Shippers choosing, starring, rating, offering routes to, or declining Drivers on those grounds;
- Drivers declining work, or mistreating Shippers or recipients, on those grounds; and
- messages, ratings, or comments that demean people on those grounds.
Decisions based on lawful, job-related factors, such as vehicle class, availability, location, and past delivery performance, are allowed.
3. Safety and Respect
- No harassment, threats, violence, or unwanted physical contact.
- No unsafe or unlawful driving.
- Use recipient, Shipper, and Driver information only for the delivery it was provided for.
- Drivers may not refuse a delivery because a recipient uses a service animal or a mobility device, or needs a reasonable, safe accommodation at the handoff.
4. Reporting a Concern
Report a concern to support@shiprsolutions.com. We review every report and may limit, suspend, or end access to Shipr. A Driver suspension follows the Driver Deactivation & Appeals Policy. We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who reports a concern in good faith.
